As the Human Resources Manager, HRBP you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. You will be responsible for strategic planning, change management and HR program implementation. As an employee champion / change agent, you will assess and anticipate HR-related needs and develop integrated solutions.
 
What the role encompasses
  • Analyze trends / metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct thorough and objective investigations
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the management of employees, reducing legal risks while ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Provide performance management guidance: coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions
  • Work closely with management / employees to improve working relationships, build morale, increase productivity, engagement and retention
  • Provide policy guidance and interpretation
  • Provide guidance / input on business unit restructures, workforce and succession planning
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
  • Evaluate and monitor training programs to ensure training objectives are met
  • Provide input in the development of HR plans and provide support / guidance to Management in bringing an HR perspective to business activities
  • Provide ongoing consultation, informal training, development, coaching and advice to employees, leaders and other HR team members
  • Other duties as required
Who you are
  • 5+ years’ experience as a strategic HR Leader 
  • A degree in HR Management, or equivalent; CPHR an asset
  • Proven experience in partnering with leaders within an organization
  • Strong leadership, coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution and relationship management skills
  • Solid understanding of applicable employment and human rights legislation
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Must possess tact, diplomacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent customer service focus and an effective team player
  • Ability to work autonomously, while remaining aligned with HR and corporate strategies
  • A strong relationship builder with the ability to perform and lead within an ambiguous environment
