Our client is a well-recognized business which designs and manufactures premium interior surfacing products which they customize and market via designers, architects and distributors for predominantly the Commercial market (Hospitality, Higher Education, Healthcare, Multi-Family Residential, Retail, Institutional, etc). Providing industry leading products with exceptional service levels has allowed this business to thrive for more than half a century.
Due to the ever-increasing demand for their unique range of products, my client is looking to identify a strong individual to take on the role of Sales Representative and strengthen their presence in Montreal and the surrounding territory. The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities through millworkers, fabricators, A&D accounts, General Contractors and Residential Builders (both single and multi-family). The Sales Representative needs to be a natural "people person" who can grow and maintain a strong network of clients and industry contacts.
The ideal candidate will reside in the Greater Montreal area and possess previous sales experience in the building materials, construction or closely related industries. Knowledge of the interior finish/surfaces industry would be an advantage.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required in this role but the bulk of the territory will be within a few hours drive of Montreal.
- The successful applicant must hold a valid drivers license.
- The successful candidate will be bilingual and comfortable conducting business fluently in both English and French.
