We’re looking for a Technical Service Representative with a strong background in technical services, quoting, and supplier coordination to join a forward-thinking team in the precision machining industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, operations, and customer support, and who enjoys solving complex problems with smart, scalable solutions.

What You’ll Do:
  • Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials and secondary processes based on customer specifications.
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules to support cost-effective and timely project execution.
  • Support the preparation of competitive and accurate quotes by analyzing material, labor, and overhead costs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure estimates reflect real-world conditions and constraints.
  • Help improve and streamline the quoting process to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from quoting to production by clearly communicating job details to planning/engineering.
  • Participate in job kickoff meetings to address technical considerations and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Partner closely with sales and business development to translate client needs into actionable, cost-effective solutions.
  • Work with quality assurance to maintain high standards and address any specification concerns.
  • Stay current on industry trends, materials, and technologies to contribute to innovation and strategic growth.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, quality, or related fields.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Background in technical services, quoting, or supplier sourcing within the precision machining industry is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of materials used in machining and their characteristics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with software tools used in quoting and project management.
