What You’ll Do:
- Oversee daily financial operations including payroll, billing, reconciliations, GST filing, and job costing
- Prepare and analyze financial and project reports to support planning and decision-making
- Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, cash flow analysis, and progress draw preparations
- Mentor and support a team of accounting professionals
- Drive process improvements and collaborate with stakeholders across the business
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
- 3–4+ years of senior accounting experience in real estate development and/or construction
- CPA designation (or near completion) and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Experience with Sage or ERP systems, and strong Excel skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities
- Hands-on, adaptable, and ready to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment
