Location: Mississauga, ON (Hurontario/401)
Our client is looking for skilled Custom Machine Assemblers for brand new machinery, who have experience in customized machine assembly.
Our client operates a safe, clean facility and considers security and safety their top priority.
The Assembler would be working on various machines designed for the plastic industry. Some travel will be required once the Assembler is quite familiar and comfortable in the role.

Day Shift only:
$32 to $36/hour

Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of custom equipment and machinery.
- Some pneumatics experience and plastics industry knowledge is an asset
- Efficient time-management skills
- High school diploma/GED required
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and detailed drawings for custom designed equipment and machinery. Plastics industry knowledge is an asset.
- Assembling parts and fitting sections of production machinery.
- Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operation
- Dismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation and reassemble it at the appropriate time.
- Set up of equipment at designated location
Compensation and benefits
- 100% company paid benefits (after probationary period)
- 3 paid sick days per calendar year, vacation (2 weeks/3 weeks after 5 years/ 4 weeks after 10 years)
- RRSP with company match at 2%
Day Shift only:
Monday to Thursday - 6:50am to 3:50pm
Friday - 6:50am to 12:50pm
