Our client, a niche financial firm based in the beautiful Collingwood area, specializing in the not-for-profit sector is seeking a Gift Planning Associate. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services or with a large charitable organization and will play a key role in supporting donor relations initiatives, managing the granting process, assisting with gift planning, conducting research, and providing administrative and financial support.

About the role:
Working on-site in their state of the art office and Reporting to the Director of Foundations & Donor Services, some responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
- Provide exceptional support to new and existing donors, their advisors and charities
- Implement and facilitate gift planning strategies
- Implement and monitor disbursements and recurring gifts
- Support the grant processing team
- Stay abreast of charity strategy developments and relevant matters affecting charitable giving
- 5+ years experience working with high net-worth clients
- Extensive knowledge of the Canadian charitable sector
- Knowledge in donation strategy and estate planning
- Familiar with family and multi-generational philanthropy
- Exceptional research, administrative and communication skills
- Strong technical knowledge and experience using multiple systems including Microsoft Office, Outlook and CRM tools
