Our client, an established Vancouver Real Estate Developer is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Acquisitions Analyst to join their team. This position plays a crucial role in the growth strategy and offers potential for advancement to Acquisitions Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and assessing potential real estate acquisition opportunities and providing strategic recommendations to enhance the asset portfolio.
 

Senior Acquisitions Analyst Duties & Responsibilities:
 

• Deeply understand and align with corporate strategy and growth initiatives.
• Evaluate and assess potential real estate acquisition opportunities, including development and redevelopment projects, to ensure profitability and growth.
• Participate in acquiring and developing lands for multi-residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Prepare and analyze cash flow projections to ensure accurate financial forecasting and decision-making.
• Build and maintain financial models and provide regular timely reporting to Ownership and stakeholders.
• Provide timely and accurate analysis of real estate trends and forecasts.
• Maintain comprehensive pipeline reports and market data.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Brokers and Real Estate professionals to stay informed about off-market deals aligned with the Company’s vision.
• Establish and manage a solid database of all available projects, costs, and relevant market data in the Greater Vancouver real estate market.
• Assist the Development team in developing Investment Theses and underwriting potential development and asset management opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, marketing materials, and facilitate project-related paperwork and information flow.

Senior Acquisitions Analyst Qualifications: 
 

• 3+ years experience in real estate, construction, finance, brokerage, development, or investment-related business
• Degree, diploma, or certificate in Land Economics, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
• Additional degrees in Real Estate related fields (Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Finance, Law, or Economics) are a plus
• Advanced working proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Outstanding ability to multi-task and attention to detail are vital
• Ability to work in complex spreadsheets and interpret large volumes of business data
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project; Timberline, CAD, and Argus is a plus.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with Brokers and landowners.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and develop effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
• Critical Thinking and ability to prioritize tasks and/or Strong analytical capabilities

Senior Acquisitions Analyst Renumeration:

$90,000 - $125,000 Base, Bonus, Extended health care
