Summary of Position:
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Architect to join their dynamic team in Vancouver. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Managing Principal and leadership team to drive business development efforts, manage projects, and ensure their successful delivery. As a key member of our client's leadership team, you will have the opportunity to mentor and inspire others while advancing your career toward an associate level position.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead business development initiatives and cultivate new client relationships
• Support the Managing Principal in day-to-day operations and strategic decision-making
• Oversee project teams and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Provide design direction and guidance, ensuring projects meet functional and aesthetic goals
• Mentor and motivate team members, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth
• Stay current with design trends and emerging technologies

 

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in architecture
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution
• Registered Architect with British Columbia OR eligible to be registered with AIBC
• Proven track record of successful business development and project management
• Strong Design acumen with project portfolio 
• Experience collaborating in a multi-office environment and across regions
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on mentorship and team development
• LEED Accredited Professional designation, preferred
• Confident in decision-making, accepting responsibility and assuming authority in a leadership role
• Excellent rapport and reputation within the local market
• Positive and outgoing demeanor
