Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to handle the selling, pricing, and negotiation of contracts for commercial roofing projects.







What You’ll Do:

 

• Safety Leadership: Develop and enforce safety policies to comply with OSHA regulations and industry standards.
• Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to identify and address potential hazards.
• Training & Education: Lead safety training sessions to promote a strong safety culture.
• Accident Investigation: Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborative Planning: Work with project managers to integrate safety into all stages of project execution.

What You’ll Need:


Experience:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience instead of a degree.
• At least 5 years experience estimating complex commercial/industrial roof system projects.

Skill Set:

• Leadership qualities with the ability to lead effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a focus on quality.

Technical Proficiency:

• Familiarity with software tools for estimating and proposal generation. (Edge Software experience is a Plus)
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to read and understand specifications and blueprints related to roofing projects.

Adaptability and Training:

• Willingness to undergo training and become proficient in company-specific software tools.

Travel:

• Must be able to travel extensively to various project locations as required.

Driver’s License:

• Possession of a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.

Language Skills:

• Fluent in English; Demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively.
• Spanish/English fluency is an asset
