Summary:



We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to plan, control, implement, and track multiple concurrent commercial roofing projects from pre-construction to completion.



What You’ll Do:

 

• Prepare project schedules and phasing plans.
• Manage job costs through ECAC and WIP reviews.
• Control manpower on projects.
• Coordinate project activities to achieve successful project goals, focusing on timely and budget-compliant completion.
• Interpret and take off from Plans/Specs for new and reroof projects.
• On-site management of assigned projects, including coordination/supervision of subcontractors.
• Handle and prioritize multiple activities and projects.
• Foster customer relationships to secure repeat business.
• Participate in pre-job meetings for a seamless transition from estimating to operations.
• Prepare purchase order requests for review.
• Attend all pre-construction meetings.
• Maintain communication with project contacts regarding scheduling.
• Ensure inventory of materials received at project sites.
• Coordinate final inspections with customers/manufacturers and notify Estimating of project completion.
• Complete project closeout documents.
• Maintain overall responsibility for quality control of projects.
• Assist in Estimating as needed on job walks and small service projects.
• Ensure execution of safety plans according to Policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

 

• 5 years of commercial roofing experience.
• Experience in project management and/or estimating in commercial roofing or similar commercial construction industry.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and project documentation.
• Knowledge of commercial/industrial system design, installation code compliance, and manufacturer requirements for warranty.
• Experience with project management software (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication and time management abilities.
• Organized and enjoys working outside.
• Ability to lift and climb up and down a 30 ft. ladder or many flights of stairs.
• Capable of receiving instructions and clearly explaining problems and solutions to customers.
• Compliant with all job-site safety requirements, including PPE and fall protection.
• Team-oriented with a commitment to the company’s Core Values.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
