Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to plan, control, implement, and track multiple concurrent commercial roofing projects from pre-construction to completion.




What You’ll Do:



Project Planning and Scheduling:

• Develop detailed project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely project completion.

Budget Management:

• Prepare and manage project budgets.
• Monitor expenses and ensure projects stay within budget.
• Approve expenditures and handle any financial discrepancies.

Team Coordination and Supervision:

• Lead and supervise roofing crews and subcontractors.
• Ensure all team members are trained and follow safety protocols.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure quality and compliance.

Client Communication and Relationship Management:

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients.
• Provide regular project updates and address any concerns promptly.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

Quality Control and Compliance:

• Ensure all work meets industry standards and company quality guidelines.
• Conduct final inspections and handle any punch list items.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Handle any on-site issues or emergencies effectively.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed to prevent accidents.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Prepare and submit regular status reports to senior management.
• Ensure all project documents are organized and accessible.

What You’ll Need:
 

• 5 years of commercial roofing experience.
• Experience in project management and/or estimating in commercial roofing or similar commercial construction industry.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
• OSHA certification is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and project documentation.
• Knowledge of commercial/industrial system design, installation code compliance, and manufacturer requirements for warranty.
• Experience with project management software (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication and time management abilities.
• Organized and enjoys working outside.
• Ability to lift and climb up and down a 30 ft. ladder or many flights of stairs.
• Capable of receiving instructions and clearly explaining problems and solutions to customers.
• Compliant with all job-site safety requirements, including PPE and fall protection.
• Team-oriented with a commitment to the company’s Core Values.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
