Operations Manager - Commercial Roofing

Compensation: $90 - 100K plus Company Vehicle, Gas Card, Matching 401K, Medical Insurance and more.

Full Time: Houston

Our Client is looking for a strong Operations Manager to oversee their Commercial Roofing Division.  This would be overseeing multiple teams out in the field on a daily basis with 4+ Superintendents reporting directly to you. This is a strong opportunity for candidates that can bring that ongoing Leadership and Direction to every day. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise team of Superintendents
• Oversee/assist each Superintendent performance to assure they are completing all required functions
• Provide training to any superintendents/PMs that may lack in any area of their job functions
• Continue to grow usage of company Track Report tool
• Continue to grow quality assurance program to achieve 100% completion of projects
• Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Daily Quality Assurance
• Confirm JHA’s are filled out daily by team
• Contribute to and grow overall safety culture
• Comply with company safety standards and practices to promote a safe and clean work environment
• Monitor camera notifications for commercial
• Conduct all business in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Support and abide by the values of the company
• Other duties as assigned

• Great communication skills
• Critical Thinker – intuition to pick up phone, ask why and respond promptly to questions
• Problem Solver – take ownership, resolve and communicate with team
• Team Player – willing to complete processing tasks, no matter the task

• 5+ years roofing experience
• Management of team preferred
• Construction: commercial and bi-lingual preferred
