POSITION SUMMARY 

Repairs and overhauls electric, diesel, gasoline, liquid propane, industrial lift trucks and related material handling equipment while following safety policies and procedures.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain parts and tool inventory supplied by the company.

Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of unit and systems to diagnose extent and cause of malfunction.   

Disassembles unit and inspects parts for wear.

Repairs or replaces parts such as rods, gears, valves and bearings.

Overhauls, replaces or rebuilds varied lift truck components.

Maintains records of repairs and completes all necessary paperwork associated with the documentation of all repairs. 

Provide maximum customer satisfaction through quality workmanship in a timely and safe manner.

Promote and support all aspects of our Dealership.

Promote and maintain a professional image. Neat and clean: self; equipment; and paperwork.

Show respect to customer, management and all company personnel.

Manage time to obtain maximum efficiency/productivity.

Turn in paperwork timely, accurately, and legibly.

Participate in determining needs - training, inventory, tools, etc.

Maintain a safe work area and ensures compliance with OSHA rules and regulations. Ensures required PPE is in good condition and accessible for task at hand, including safety glasses, gloves and shoes.

Attain Raymond certifications and demonstrate high degree of technical skill in all phases of the following: electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical knowledge and general equipment operation theory.

Participate in company training program, both on and off company time.

Account for 100% of work time.

Demonstrate good judgment and personal attitude, which are critical in maintaining our company’s reputation for results orientated service.
