Job Title: Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist 
Location: Brampton - ONSITE

Salary: $50,000+, plus excellent benefits and RSP plan

Our client is a national distributor with 4 facilities across Canada.   This role will have you reporting into a Controller in Vancouver and working in HQ with a small team in Brampton.   This is an excellent opportunity to start with a newly acquired company.

The duties will include the following:

• opening customer accounts and setting up credit limits
• releasing and holding of orders
• follow up with customers on past due invoices
• back up for cash applications
• prepare daily bank deposits
• matching of debits and credits
• work closely with Sales reps, and managers
• work closely with manager for write-offs
• monthly reporting
• ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Credit and Collections experience in a manufacturing/distribution industry
• strong communication skills, both written and verbal
•  Must be able to commute to office 5 days/week
• bilingual is a strong asset
