OUR CLIENT
Our client, a well established Architecture practice with several offices in Canada, is hiring a talented Architectural Technologist to work remotely for them across a range of project types, including large multi-family, high rise projects and commercial projects. This company are growing and have a well established presence and a great reputation. They offer great flexibility around start and finish times and offer both a fully remote environment.
THE JOB
The ideal applicant will have excellent communication skills and work with team members throughout all processes of the project phases. This role will have focus in creating complex blueprints, working drawings and construction documents. With a fast paced environment and project deliverables and timelines to meet, the Advanced intermediate or Senior Architectural Technologist will need excellent project management and leadership skills. This is a very collaborative and collective team with an excellent and inclusive working environment and an organization that allows the flexibility to design and learn as their career moves forward. Project experience commercial and public projects preferred, with some high rise or mid rise also being an asset.

WHAT'S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;
- Architectural Technology Diploma/Certification required, preferably from within North America
- 8+ years of experience as an Architectural Technologist
- Be currently living in Canada and have solid experience working with the national building code
- Some high rise experience is preferred
- Experience working with Revit is essential
- Experience working with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office is an asset
- Some experience with commercial or mixed use projects is preferable, high rise is an asset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
