OUR CLIENT
Our client in Alberta, a very reputable Architecture and Design firm, is hiring for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist with experience working on commercial, public and residential projects, to join their busy and collaborative team. This company are growing and have a well established presence and a great reputation. They offer great flexibility around start and finish times and offer both a hybrid work environment as well as fully remote options - from within Calgary.
THE JOB
The ideal applicant will have excellent communication skills and work with team members throughout all processes of the project phases. This role will have focus in creating complex blueprints, working drawings and construction documents. With a fast paced environment and project deliverables and timelines to meet, the Senior Architectural or Building Technologist will need excellent project management and leadership skills. This is a very collaborative and collective team with an excellent and inclusive working environment and an organization that allows the flexibility to design and learn as their career moves forward. Project experience commercial and public projects preferred, with some high rise or mid rise also being an asset.

WHAT'S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;
- Architectural Technology Diploma/Certification required
- 8+ years of experience working as an Architectural Technologist
- Be currently living in Canada and have at least 5 years of experience working with the building codes in Canada
- Experience working with Revit is essential
- Experience working with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office is an asset
- Some experience with commercial or mixed use projects is preferable
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Able to be located in Calgary, Alberta
