Project Estimating/Bid Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY
The Commercial Construction Estimating Coordinator will play a pivotal role in our pre-construction phase, working closely with the estimating team, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely project estimates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Minimum $50,000 salary (significant range above depending on experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Helping support Estimating dept including all communication and coordination with sub contractors
- Plan reading / ability to build a trades list from a set of plans
- Ability to scope sub bids and match it with the plans
- Project startup packets
- Willingness to update and streamline our current bid list and level board
- Ability to be able to call sub contactors and go through scope with them for pricing adjustments as needed
- Daily check of all of our public websites we get some of our work from and ability to find relatable projects for us to bid
- Willingness to update and keep track of all of our sub contractors and constantly be checking contact information and both our bid list and Building Connected list of subs
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Must have experience in estimating dept – at least 2 years
- Must be able to read plans and identify trades
- Experience with onscreen take off, Bluebeam, Building Connect (preferred)
- Minimum $50,000 salary (significant range above depending on experience)
