ABOUT THE ROLE
The Architect / Associate will be involved in overseeing projects through various phases and will be involved in leadership of project teams in the Calgary studio. The right candidate must have experience working with both small and large projects and capable of mentoring junior staff. In addition to full cycle project work, this role will also involve some business development, operations/leadership and client liaison.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Architect / Associate will be involved in overseeing projects through various phases and will be involved in leadership of project teams in the Calgary studio. The right candidate must have experience working with both small and large projects and capable of mentoring junior staff. In addition to full cycle project work, this role will also involve some business development, operations/leadership and client liaison.
This candidate will have the following aspects;
- Master’s Degree in Architecture (Registered or eligible to become registered in Canada/British Columbia)
- AAA or AIBC Registration or eligible to become registered
- Minimum 9 years' industry experience
- Proven track record with projects across a range of sectors
- Detailed approach to project management with an entrepreneurial mindset in developing a team and leading projects forward through to completion
- A passion for design and architecture with a strong leadership approach is preferred
- Good knowledge of the Calgary market with local experience is preferred
- Strong client liaison skills, enjoy working with clients
- Experience working with technical programs like Revit and AutoCAD
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Desire to lead others and be a part of the leadership team and growth of the company
