In this role, you will contribute to the detailed electrical design and project management of high voltage substation projects. As a key member of a dynamic team, you will collaborate with engineers and designers on power distribution and air & gas insulated substation engineering. If you have a strong background in substation components, layout, and electrical studies, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Qualifications:

• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field with 3 years of experience.
• Excellent Communication Skills! Able to communcate compex technical concepts in email and reports
• Proficient with AutoCad and the associated skills of drawing development, scaling details to geographical layouts and observing correct application of coordinate systems, drawing layers etc.
  • Profiency with MicroStation or other drafting software is an asset. 
  • Proficient with 3D software and standart office software (including Adobe) 
• Excellent organizational communication and collaboration skills to work closely with Drafters, Engineers, and Leads to meet project timelines.
• Understanding of client-specific requirements, codes, and regulations for preparing physical electrical packages.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and data collection.
• Familiarity with substation grounding, lightning protection, and illumination studies preferred.
