THE FIRM 
The firm has three dozen design interior design professionals located in a modern office in the heart of Toronto. Specialized in high-end luxury condos & hospitality projects, they take pride in design excellence & providing ongoing mentoring & professional development to ensure project and personal success.   

ROLE OVERVIEW 
The Senior Interior Designer is responsible for the successful delivery of projects and reports to the Senior Team Lead. They will be experienced managing multiple complex projects at a time; a natural problem solver, they enjoy positively mentoring others.  

WHAT'S REQUIRED 
  • B.A.A. Bachelor of Applied Arts, or B.F.A. Bachelor in Fine Arts, focused on interior design; or any combination; BCIN,  NCIDQ/ARIDO, & LEED certified an asset    
  • 7+ years work Canadian work experience: solid experience navigating the Ontario Building Code and national codes 
  • A portfolio of complex condo or hotel projects reflecting designs of suites, lobbies & and common amenity areas; sets of working drawings in addition to renderings, with a high level of detailing including millwork, reflected ceilings, & staircases
  • Ability to lead concept design and development, working drawings; manage tendering and construction; and handle PM duties (meet client for SOW, schedule, and monitoring contracts (RFIs, SIs, COs) to alert client of additional charges if required 
  • Software: AutoCAD, Xref (plans, elevations, architectural and millwork), MS Project (or other PM software), MS-suite required; Revit and Adobe Suite an asset 
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to hand sketch concepts a big plus
