Our client is a well-known manufacturer of premium interior and architectural surface solutions which they customize and distribute through designers, architects and distributors for mainly the Commercial market. Providing industry leading products with exceptional service levels has enabled this business to thrive for more than half a century.
Due to the ever increasing demand for their unique range of products, my client is looking to identify a strong individual to take on the role of Specification Sales Representative (A+D) to cover the Carolina's and Tennessee. This role is home office based with regular travel throughout the region and the position will be responsible for representing the line to Architects + Designers as well as supporting the representatives of the local distributor who call on Buyer Accounts. The role will be split approximate 80% A+D / 20% distributor rep support.
The ideal candidate will be based in Charlotte or Raleigh North Carolina, and will possess previous experience working as either a Specification Sales (A+D) Representative or Manufacturers Representative. Knowledge of the custom specification process is required to be successful in this position. An education, background or passion for interior design will also be viewed as an advantage.
- Occasional overnight travel will be required in this role.
