Commercial Roofing Project Manager

$80,000- $110,000 annual salary

 
Our client a leader as a full-service roofing and exterior services provider seeks a Project Manager with commercial roofing experience. Project Managers play a crucial role in overseeing roofing installations and repairs for commercial properties across multiple construction projects. If you're a seasoned project manager with a background in commercial roofing, we want you to join our team.
 
As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for planning, managing resources, budgeting, monitoring progress, and ensuring seamless project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a cross-functional team to successfully complete assigned projects on time and within specifications.
• Define project tasks and delegate responsibilities accordingly.
• Conduct cost analysis, estimating project expenses.
• Develop and implement project budgets based on estimates.
• Perform risk assessments, report identified risks to management, and recommend risk mitigation strategies (including project termination if necessary).
• Address questions, concerns, and complaints throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as a liaison between our company, customers, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities within estimates to improve cost performance and coordinate with project management and production teams.
• Participate in financial analysis upon project completion, track performance metrics, and analyze bid results.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Minimum of 5 years of project management/estimating experience.
• Knowledge of commercial roofing, particularly single-ply, asphalt, cold applied, hot applied, and metal projects is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create forecasts based on financial data.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software, preferably experience with Edge Estimating and Procore.
• Ability to analyze specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
