This is a great opportunity for an Intermediate Estimator to join a high-profile company working on large projects in the commercial, infrastructure and residential sectors.
Our client is a leader in the industry as a general contractor with large projects in the infrastructure, commercial and residential sectors. They have progressively grown and are working on projects throughout Canada and have a great reputation in the industry.
The Estimator role will report to the Chief Estimator and be involved in the estimation process. This will include cost analysis, project scheduling, take-offs, pricing with subcontractors and sub-trades, and final cost estimations with the project.

The Estimator role will report to the Chief Estimator and be involved in the estimation process. This will include cost analysis, project scheduling, take-offs, pricing with subcontractors and sub-trades, and final cost estimations with the project.
This candidate will have the following aspects;
- Bachelor's Degree or Certification in Construction
- 3+ years' experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Experience working in the commercial, residential and infrastructure sectors
- Knowledge of key principles involved in bid preparation, including quantity take-off procedures, sub-trade procurement, pricing and bid closing procedures
- Experience on estimates over $100 Million and comfortable with executing estimates at $50 Million independently
- Excellent knowledge of internal software estimate programs
- Professional presentation and communication skills
