Job Title: Commercial Roofing Superintendent
Our client is actively looking for a skilled Commercial Roofing Superintendent to take charge of planning, implementing, and tracking commercial roof project installations from inception to completion. This crucial role involves close coordination with all stakeholders and ensuring regular updates throughout the project lifecycle.

They are known for providing a range of commercial roofing services, including installations, repairs, and maintenance. The company typically works on various types of roofing systems for commercial and industrial buildings. What You’ll Do:

• Coordinate Project Activities: Ensure successful project goals by focusing on timely and budget-conscious project completion.
• Reading and Takeoffs: Interpret plans and specifications for new and reroof projects.
• On-site Management: Manage assigned projects on-site, including the coordination and supervision of subcontractors.
• Activity Prioritization: Control and prioritize multiple activities while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Purchase Orders: Prepare purchase orders for review.
• Pre-construction Meetings: Actively participate in all pre-construction meetings.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with project contacts regarding scheduling.
• Inventory Management: Assist in ensuring an accurate inventory of materials received at project sites.
• Final Inspections: Coordinate final inspections with customers/manufacturers and provide input for estimating project completion.
• Project Closeout: Complete all necessary project closeout documents.
• Quality Control: Assist in ensuring overall quality control of projects.
• Estimating Support: Assist the estimating team on an as-needed basis and with small service projects.
• Travel: Be prepared for travel as required for project needs.

What You’ll Need:


Experience:

• 5 years of hands-on field experience in commercial roof construction.
• Familiarity with a diverse range of commercial roofing systems and various roofing manufacturers.

Skill Set:

• Leadership qualities with the ability to lead project teams effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in project management and quality management practices.
• Supervisory skills to oversee on-site activities.
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a focus on quality.

Technical Proficiency:

• Ability to read and understand specifications and blueprints related to roofing projects.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Adaptability and Training:

• Willingness to undergo training and become proficient in company-specific software tools.

Travel:

• Must be able to travel extensively to various project locations as required.

Driver’s License:

• Possession of a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.

Language Skills:

• Fluent in English; Spanish/English fluency is preferred, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
