Our client, a respected construction company in the GTA area, is seeking a Site Superintendent with expertise in managing construction sites. The Site Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring safety and quality, and maintaining efficient project progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction site management and a proven track record of project success.

Yearly Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage on-site construction activities.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to stay on schedule.
• Interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
• Foster clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders.
• Implement and enforce project site policies and procedures.
• Oversee the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
• Manage the on-site workforce and ensure efficient labor allocation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction site management, with a proven track record of overseeing diverse projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proven experience as a Site Superintendent on construction projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• OSHA certification is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities for on-site challenges.
• Detail-oriented and committed to safety and quality.
• Strong organizational skills for site logistics and scheduling.
